This parenting seminar will highlight skills to help parents in forming healthy and nurturing parent-child relationships.
Dr. Lim Mee Gaik is a senior adjunct professor at Park University, Texas and has taught undergraduate and graduate courses for over 10 years. She has published extensively on topics of family, marriage and counseling and will be sharing with us from her wealth of experience and knowledge.
The learning objectives for the seminar are:
1) To increase awareness of healthy family dynamics;
2) To provide skills to increase family bonding, cohesion, and nurturing;
3) To develop healthy communication skills; and
4) To encourage play and humor in families.
