Creative teaching seminar

I came to know that there will be a seminar held in Amcorp Trade Centre on 16th August 2009, giving out information about creative teaching, which I personally feel that it is useful to every parent.

In this 21st century era, parents and children alike need to constantly be growing, evolving and developing. A CREATIVE parent will be able to:
* stop correcting problems & start encouraging,
* concentrate more on what is right and less on what is wrong,
* see mistakes as opportunities for gaining experience and not as failures,
* acknowledge that children also have valuable ideas & the more ideas the better,
* realize that there are always better ways rather than doing things the same way,
* listen to child’s opinion in order to create a win-win situation for everyone!

The course named “The Art of Creative Teaching”, with the objectives as below:

-The art of telling stories
-Using humor to liven up the class
-Using magic to arouse interest, promote discovery and increase retention
-The importance of teaching aids
-The importance of excitement in teaching and learning
-Seeing things from children’s perspectives
-Teaching with love and concern
-How to motivate reluctant learners
-How to cater for gifted children
-How to overcome careless mistakes
-Turning failure into success
-Using magic to increase retention

This workshop is specially designed for Parents/Teachers who handle children aged 12 years and below.

*Fee includes Training Handouts, A pack of M-Wizy Magic Cards, 2 Tea Breaks & 1 Lunch.
